BAMBOO

The top layer of soft charcoal grey bamboo is soft and gentle against your skin. It’s also chemical-free, breathable, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-odour.

MICROFIBRE

Inside the core of the pads are layers of absorbent microfibre. These are super-absorbent to ensure you’re secure, dry and comfortable during your period.

PUL

The bottom layer which touches your pants is made from durable, waterproof PUL. This is durable and stain-resistant and will keep you leak-free.

DOUBLE POPPERS

Each pad has double popper buttons, providing a choice of settings to ensure a secure and close fit which minimises movement.

EASY WASHING

Simply rinse with cold water (warm would set the blood-stain) then add to a dark load of washing, Machine wash at 30 -40 degrees and air or line dry*.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Washing your bamboo sanitary pads is easy!

  • For heavily soiled pads, pre-rinse or soak in COLD water straight away (warm water could set blood-stains).

  • Lightly soiled pads don’t need to be soaked or rinsed. Just fold into an ‘envelope’ and put in the washing basket to be washed in the next couple of days.

  • Wash with other dark clothes so as not to stain light materials.

  • Machine wash at 30 or 40 degrees, ensure the pads are ‘open’ and not folded.

  • Use normal washing powder detergent (powder is better than liquid detergent for your pads).

  • Don’t use fabric softener as it reduces absorbency of the pads.

Drying your pads is easy too.

  • Don’t tumble or radiator dry as the heat can damage the waterproof PUL.

  • Hang on the washing line or airer to dry naturally.

  • They dry pretty quickly!
